The Kennington Chiropody Surgery is easily accessible by the many buses that stop at Kennington Road, where the bus stops are right outside the surgery.

Qualifications

MAR, Practitioner's Certificate in Reflexology. This qualification demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of reflexology. This qualification is externally assessed and is recognised by the Association of Reflexologists (link for AOR) and the Complementary and Natural Heathcare Council (link for CNHC).

DipH - Diploma in Hypnotherapy. Practitioner's Certificate in Hypnotherapy, applying a range of techniques to induce hypnosis, tailored for individual clients, with a therapeutic approach to achieve client's goals and understanding ethical issues such as client confidentiality.

HPD - Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma. The HPD is externally assessed/verified by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (link for NCH) and the Northern College for Further Education (NCFE).

DipNLP - Diploma in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP has helped people overcome phobias and habits, manage emotions and much more. 'Neuro' refers to the brain, 'linguistic' refers to language and 'programming' refers to new habits replacing the old ones. Whilst we have yet to fully understand the relationship between language and the brain, NLP shows how the use of language to break old patterns can help people improve their lives.

CertDE - Certificate in Discursive Empowerment. Discursive Empowerment has been developed by Paul Peace who obtained his PhD in this field, and Karen Bartle who is using these insights in her MSc Health Psychology research - "social constructionism and discourse theory are at the cutting edge of Psychology. This exciting new discipline is making its way into many areas of life, bringing new insights in healthcare and anywhere else where language use is important e.g. education and business".
